Day 95

I have nothing particularly wonderful for today but thought these were cute. Sisters are mean, aren't they! First, the bunny ears and then she put a rooster on her head and was calling her the Rooster Queen. Gotta love 6 year olds.

We went the the Rib Cook Off over at the Berea Fairgrounds and we did not come home empty handed. World, meet Henry.

We went to the park this afternoon for my nieces preschool graduation.

Here is yesterdays picture and I think it speaks for itself. If this is not the face of a teething baby, I don't know what is. Her tooth had just arrived the night before and was still so sore. That night, she slept for 13 hours to make up for the countless hours she had missed out on the entire before. And I thought about using that background for her birthday pictures but now I think* I am going to order a pink one. We shall see.

We walked over to the park this evening for an all girls picnic dinner since daddy had to work.

We had a lot of fun playing in the front yard this morning! I really wish I knew how to work photoshop because this picture has so much potential but I cant get the coloring right on just picnik.com...someday soon I vow to teach myself.

Daddy bought me a new stroller today and my mommy and I both think it's great! It's the Kolcraft Contours 3. It's larger than expected and takes up the entire trunk but it's the greatest inanimate object, ever.

I originally made this tutu for Lilly but it's far too big. Good thing I just happen to have a bigger girl who this should fit perfectly! Here is Lilly modeling it.

My mom had to go out to Carters and buy me all new clothes today. Those 6 month old clothes are for babies. Hello 12 month clothing!

Today, we went down to Lakewood Park to go for a walk. It was a little chilly but we had a nice time. If you haven't been down there since the storm we had this past week, the place looks like a tree graveyard. Sad but they are working on cleaning it up!

Happy Mothers Day! To celebrate, Sadie and I made muffins and then went shopping. After all, she's the reason I'm a mommy in the first place, so I had to make sure I let her know how much I appreciate her for that :)
